A MUM and daughter duo are all geared up to make a difference within their local community.
Joanne McNamee, 34, and five-year-old Isla Grace will be taking part in the famous Kiltwalk challenge, to raise funds for the Glasgow North West Foodbank, based in Blawarthill Church.

The dynamic duo, from Knightswood, are hoping that the funds raised will help the food bank 'ease the strain' on local families, especially with the summer holidays in tow.
Speaking with the Glasgow Times, Joanne said: "My daughter and I try to do something every year.
"Every Christmas, we donate our penny jar to the likes of the British Heart Foundation, SSPCA, Cancer Research and St Margaret’s Hospice.
"But this year, my daughter saw the Kiltwalk advertised and thought it looked fun.
"So, I explained we could do it and raise some money for people who live in our community, and she wanted to do that.
"She's only five and she is a little treasure. She makes me so proud every day."
The pair will be taking part in the walk on Sunday, April 30.
There are three options for the walk: the mighty stride (26 miles), the big stroll (approx. 11- 15 miles) and the wee wander (approx. 3-5 miles).
Isla and Joanne will be doing the three-mile wee wander and with a few weeks to go, they already can't wait.
Joanne said: "We’re super excited.
"I did the full Kiltwalk a few years ago. It’s a great day. It's fun while raising money for a good cause.
"We have some family members joining now too."
The pair are not only excited to take part in the walk, but to make a difference to the food bank's already impressive work efforts.

Joanne said: "We wanted to raise money for the food bank as they do a fantastic job in our local community.
"It's not just lower-income families who struggle now in the current climate, it’s your everyday families.
"We hope it eases the strain, especially during the summer holidays when kids are home more, and food bills are higher."
The pair set up a GoFundMe to help raise money from the event, with a target of £500, which extraordinarily was exceeded within a matter of days.
Joanne said: "I set the target at £500 but it’s blown up.
"People have been incredibly generous, and we want to say a special thanks to our large donators."
The amount of money raised now sits at a whopping £1700.
