Pollokshaws Road was taped up on Monday evening and a cordon was placed around Queen's Park following an alleged incident.
As the Glasgow Times previously reported, a 29-year-old man was hospitalised.
Now the force has revealed that an arrest has been made in connection.
A 31-year-old will appear in court on Wednesday.

“A 29-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 5.
“A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
