A GERMAN retailer has opened its first store in Glasgow.
Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus has more than 60 showrooms across the UK but has opened its doors for the first time in the city at 223 Great Western Road.
The 'excellent' rated brand prides itself on showcasing the best in German kitchen design and offering a range of styles to suit different tastes.
Visitors looking to transform their kitchen can walk into the 1500sqft store and view the five full kitchen displays with working demo appliances showing the most up-to-date technology.
The showroom's owner Philip Archer has 20 years of experience as a property developer and kitchen specialist, and he is looking to create jobs in the local area by recruiting two salespeople and two designers.
He said: “Our new showroom will give the people of Glasgow the opportunity to purchase high-quality, bespoke German kitchens.
“The thing I love about my job is meeting people and creating designs.
"I’m keen to celebrate the craftsmanship that comes with kitchen design and something I relish is getting to know my customers well and guiding them through the entire process to deliver their ideal kitchen.
“We’re situated in an exciting high street location, meaning customers can walk in and get their journey started quite easily.
“Having the backing of Kutchenhaus also means an excellent price point and lead times, allowing us to provide a personal service which we can be proud of.”
Paul Lee, head of marketing at Kutchenhaus, added: “We’re pleased to welcome Philip onboard and to expand the Kutchenhaus network into Glasgow with the brand’s first showroom.
“Philip’s passion shines through in his work, and he has created a brilliant space where customers can explore the very latest kitchen styles and technology.
"We’re sure those who visit the showroom in Glasgow will be left dreaming about how their kitchen will look in no time at all.”
