A SECOND Burger King restaurant has opened in Glasgow in a few weeks.
After months of planning, the fast food chain has opened its doors on Renfield Street.
We previously reported that Burger King had launched plans to open two eateries, on Renfield Street and on St George's Road, in a move creating 50 jobs in Glasgow.
The St George's Road branch opened on March 20.
To mark the opening at Renfield Street, the team will be giving away 1000 free Whoppers or plant-based Whoppers on Wednesday, April 5.
Alasdair Murdoch, Burger King's UK CEO, said: “We know the people of Glasgow love the great-tasting food of Burger King, so we’ve listened to their requests and are very excited to bring all their favourites to their neighbourhood."
To get a free Whopper, guests simply have to use the Burger King app or follow this link to retrieve a code which they can show to staff at the counter.
The deal is first-come-first-served and valid only on April 5 at Burger King, 9-11 Renfield Street, Glasgow, GL2 5EZ.
