A HERD of deer has left a number of residents in a Glasgow Southside area puzzled.
The animals were spotted trotting down the busy Seamill Street in Nitshill yesterday.
Those in the area flocked to social media to determine if their eyes were playing tricks on them or if they had, indeed, seen the woodland creatures wandering around the Nitshill Road area.

One person wrote: "I've just seen a deer running down Seamill Street."
Another said: "A herd of deer have just popped up along the Nitshill Road. Traffic doesn't know what to do."
While one added: "One ran out in front of me at Barrhead Road. Got the fright of my life."
It's understood around four deer were on the loose last night, however, it's not clear where they've appeared from.
Residents said work being carried out as part of a new housing development in the fields behind the area may be bringing the creatures out of their comfort zone.
