A MAN was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
999 crews were called to Edinburgh Road, in the city's East End, following the collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian yesterday morning.
Locals reported an ambulance, paramedics and police at the scene, near a car wash business.
The pedestrian who was hit by the car was rushed to hospital.
An investigation was launched and is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.50am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a male pedestrian.
"The pedestrian was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing."
