While Glasgow is a landlocked city, this does not prevent it from enjoying dozens of lovely beaches.

City residents are only a short drive away from some of the country's most scenic and well-loved locations, making it easy for those wanting a quick staycation to have a wee holiday.

With the weather getting better this spring and many looking for a quick getaway, Glasgwegians often overlook visiting the coast.

Once a staple of the holiday season, many are rediscovering these locations after the pandemic prevented most foreign travel.
