A PUB described as a city 'institution' is changing hands after 37 years.
Billy Gold listed the Hielan Jessie for £259,000 earlier this year.
The Gallowgate venue, which used to be known as the Regal Bar, has been in Billy's family since 1986 and is renowned for its strong ties to the local community.
The pub is listed online as under offer, and the listing describes it as a 'characterful traditional bar' with a capacity to seat around 60 people.
It adds: "The Hielan Jessie is a Glasgow institution.
"The business is generating a high level of revenue, with strong barrelage and would be ideal for either an owner/operator or a pub company to operate under a tenancy.
"The immediate surrounding area has benefited from significant investment and there are over 500 new homes currently being developed within five minutes’ walk."
It comes after Billy told the Glasgow Times his concerns about the cost-of-living crisis and the impact it has on small businesses.
Speaking in November, he said: "This is a community venue, so we know a lot of our customers on first name terms, and we hear them talking and they talk to us.
“And they are very concerned about what’s going to happen with inflation, food prices, utility prices.
“It’s impacting right across the age ranges and people that are working, people that are not working, everybody is getting impacted one way or another."
