THE man who was tragically killed in a road incident on Saturday has been named by cops.
James Malloy, 82, was the pedestrian involved in a crash on Chalmers Street at around 11.45am on April 15.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts remain with James’ family and friends at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information or dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us to come forward."
Police are keen for anyone who may have seen what happened or who may have been in the area around the time.
Sergeant McGuire added: “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1375 of April 15, 2023.”
