Major British ska band Madness have announced a Glasgow date on their long-awaited UK tour which will see the group perform in cities like Cardiff, Manchester and Bournemouth.

The band was first formed in 1976 and is the most well-known act to come from the UK's two-tone ska revival.

The group is well-known for hit songs like One Step Beyond and Baggy Trousers as it dominated the charts in the late 70s and early 80s.

With Madness coming to Glasgow this year, many eager fans will be looking for ways to snag some tickets for the sought-after gig as the band embarks on its C’est La Vie tour.

How to get tickets to Madness at Glasgow's OVO Hydro

Tickets for Madness will go on sale on Friday, April 28, from Seetickets with standing seats costing £48.65 and seated areas costing as much as £66.25.

However, the site states: "Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. We cannot issue refunds to under 14s who are not accompanied by an adult."
