A PROPERTY developer is inviting potential buyers to view a show home at the new housing site on the former Philips Factory in Hamilton.

Lovell Homes, which is developing its energy-efficient housing estate at the former factory, is inviting prospective buyers to see inside a show home.

The site, named Glow Garren, will host 163 homes, 40 of which will be affordable housing.

Glasgow Times:

The homes, which will be priced from £225,000 to £375,000, will consist of three, four and five-bedroom homes, the first of which are now ready for occupation.

Interested buyers are being encouraged to visit the five-bedroom Jedburgh show home to see for themselves.

Viewings will be available throughout the weekend of April 28 to 30 and customers are being welcomed to arrange a viewing.

Glasgow Times:

John McGill, Lovell Partnerships Ltd development director, said: “We are very much looking forward to the launch of the fantastic new show home, allowing us to showcase our offering at Glow Garren and welcoming prospective buyers to the site.

“The fabulous properties, both inside and out, are beautifully stylish with a modern look and design.

“With convenient access to Glasgow and the amenities of the local area, this new development will be perfect for families and those seeking a welcoming community.”

Glasgow Times:

Lovell is also offering incentives to buyers to help them get started, and it will hand out an inspiration package which will help new buyers customise their homes to their taste.

The developer is also delivering a helping hands scheme whereby Lovell will cover the cost of buyers selling their existing home.

A financial advisor will also be available during the viewing to help buyers make their decision.

Glasgow Times:

The new homes are energy-efficient and use 30% less water than older homes.

They come fitted with efficient appliances and use up to 80% less electricity for lighting due to only using energy-saving bulbs.

Lovell has worked in partnership with a range of organisations to make Glow Garren come to fruition. It has worked with Signify, JLL Real Estate as well as technical teams EMA Architects and Dougall Baillie Associates.

Glasgow Times:

South Lanarkshire Council has also played a key role.

The council approved plans last February and the affordable housing will be taken on by the local authority which will form part of its long-term plans to provide 1300 affordable homes by 2027.
