A BRIDGE being built across the River Clyde is one step closer to completion.
When finished, the Govan-Partick Bridge will go over the water from Water Row, close to Govan Cross, to the Riverside Museum at Pointhouse Quay.
Now, Glasgow City Council has shared pictures of progress on the bridge as a key stage was reached.

The council shared photos as infilling of a cofferdam takes place which will allow the construction of the south pier, the area on which the bridge will pivot when complete.
The £29.5million project includes the construction of a new pedestrian/ cycle bridge over the River Clyde and will re-establish a historic link between Partick and Govan.
It is hoped the bridge will become a key part of the active travel route between Glasgow University's Gilmorehill campus and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Work began on the Govan-Partick bridge in January 2022 and it is scheduled to be open by the Spring of 2024.
