SINGER Michael Buble has wowed the crowds at his first Glasgow show in four years.

The crooner took to the stage at the Ovo Hydro tonight for the first of two performances in the city.

The packed crowd erupted as the Everything singer walked out in a black-coloured suit.

Fans have been eagerly anticipating the 47-year-old's return to the city since 2019, however, the coronavirus pandemic hindered his plans to return.

He thanked the crowd for welcoming him "home", however, one lucky fan got more than he bargained for.

A young boy named Daniel was brought up to the stage after the singer spotted his sign in the crowd which read: "It's my first concert, can I get a selfie?"

He went on to dedicate the show to another fan, Tiegan, who he described as a "ninja" when she shot up to grab a napkin he threw into the cloud.

Of all 43 countries on his tour list, the star chose his opening night in Glasgow to film for the upcoming DVD.

He described Glaswegians as tough and even gave fans a glimpse at his attempt at a Scottish accent.

He said: "This is where I wanted to shoot the special...you're my people."

The long-awaited show did not disappoint with fans screaming for more as the dad-of-four finally exited the stage.

Buble will return to the Finnieston venue again tomorrow night for another show before moving on to Aberdeen.
