A TEENAGER has been left heartbroken after losing her dead mother’s ring after going for a sunbed.
Taylor Hamilton is desperately trying to track down the piece of jewellery as it is her last connection to her mum Wendy Reid, who passed away last year.
The 19-year-old, who lives in Shettleston, had been visiting Just Tan It when she removed her beloved ring.
She then began to feel ill and quickly left the premises forgetting the silver and purple ring which sadly wasn’t there when she went back.
Now she is desperate to find it and fears someone may have taken it but hopes it will soon be returned to her.
Taylor said: “I am hurting thinking someone has taken it.
“It is a beautiful ring, I understand why someone would have picked it up, however it goes a lot deeper than just a sparkly ring for me.
“It has so much sentimental value because it is the only piece of jewellery I have of my mum's.
“She wore it at the time she passed, which is why it holds a very special place in my heart.
“My mum was bright and bubbly and full of life, and my purple ring just resonates so much with how I remember her.
“I would love to think I will get it back by the kindness of the public.”
Wendy sadly died suddenly last year after battling health issues leaving Taylor devastated.
The teenager is even offering to pay someone to return her mum’s ring in a desperate bid to get it back.
Taylor said: “My mum was a confident, sassy, funny, bubbly woman who brought a smile to anyone’s face who she encountered.
“She was my absolute best friend in the whole world, her passing really did have its effects on me as I’d never lost anyone before.
“I would be willing to pay someone if they do have her ring to get them to return it.
“No amount of money will bring my mum back, but that ring gives me the little hope that my mum is still all around me, and without it, that feeling isn’t there.”
