Drone footage has captured a huge fire just metres from a fire station.
The aerial shots taken over the Cambuslang area show a group gathered in a wooded area next to the blaze.
Smoke can be seen filling the air as a fire appliance is captured leaving the nearby station on Westburn Drive.
Fire crews confirmed that they were called to the fire after receiving reports.
No one was injured and the fire was successfully extinguished.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.43pm on Wednesday, April 26 to reports of a fire in the open on Westburn Road, Cambuslang.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene where firefighters extinguished a small fire on the waste ground behind a commercial premises.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene at 8.58pm after ensuring the area was safe.”
Police Scotland has been contacted.
