A POPULAR fish and chip shop in Neilston has teased its return.
The Village Chippy on Main Street has announced that it will be reopening its door soon after being temporarily closed.
The traditional chip shop teased its “new and improved” return on social media, last week.
Aiming to open on Thursday, the takeaways return has been welcomed by customers.
One social media user said: “Looking forward to it.”
Another said: “Yay, no other chippy is anywhere near as good.”
While a third said: “Looking forward to getting a decent sausage supper.”
Announcing their reopening, The Village Chippy said: “New & Improved!
“As you may be aware the shop has been closed, but the wait is almost over…
“Traditional chip shop and fresh home made authentic Italian cuisine will open its doors this coming week.
“Looking forward to welcoming customers old and new.”
