A restaurant has decided to cut its hours amid rising costs.
Michelangelo's in Clarkston will now be open from 5pm from Thursday to Sunday as the team strive to continue to deliver the best food and service they can.
A statement shared on social media read: "As we are all aware of the rising costs to the hospitality industry and the utilities.
"We have made the decision to condense the hours of service and will open from 5pm Thursday through to Sunday.
"This enables us to continue to use the highest quality of ingredients and deliver the best service we can."
They added that they will incorporate one of their weekday deals to coincide with the new hours, and thanked their loyal customers for their support.
It comes as the cost-of-living crisis continues to mount pressure on local businesses and the hospitality industry as a whole.
We previously reported that city centre bar Tiki Bar and Kitsch Inn cut their hours and would no longer be open at lunchtime after 'taking a hit'.
Popular salad spot Sprigg also confirmed that they were no longer offering a dinner service due to high costs.
And the team at Sinclair's in Battlefield told the Glasgow Times that they struggled to cope with rising costs and tried to cut hours back before deciding to close completely in January.
