A legendary Glasgow nightclub is closing for a refurbishment.
Every one of us has been to the city centre venue the Savoy on a night out at least once, and the team are preparing to undergo a huge change to improve the venue.
The Sauchiehall Street club is giving revellers one last chance to boogie this Bank Holiday weekend as they will be closed from Monday, May 8.
After eleven days of refurbishment work, the venue will reopen on May 19.
Regulars were quick to comment on the news, with many hoping for a change to the carpets.
One wrote: "Hopefully get rid of they carpets."
Another added: "No more sticking to the floor haha."
A third added: "New carpets maybe." The venue responded with: "Maybe a mix of carpet and something new."
