SIX Glasgow restaurants scooped top prizes at a culinary awards event in the city.
The country's finest chefs gathered at the city's Marriott hotel earlier this week to have their talents recognised in the Scottish Curry Awards.
Now in its 15th year, the event celebrates Scotland’s rich and diverse 'curry culture' and winners have been outlined for their "exceptional quality, innovation and consistency in offering a truly memorable dining experience".
Among the winners was Swadish, based in the Merchant City, which previously earned Best Indian Restaurant at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards in 2022 as well as best in Scotland at the 2022 British Curry Awards.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Curry Awards said: “It has been an unforgettable night, filled with incredible food, vibrant energy and passionate conversations.
“We have celebrated the finest in the Scottish curry scene, recognising the creativity, innovation and exceptional service that have become synonymous with this beloved cuisine.
“The curry industry is a vital part of our culture, and these awards recognised the exceptional talents of the individuals and businesses that make it so special. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees, and thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event.”
