UPDATE: Forensics pictured on the scene after 'stabbing' in city's Southside
A MAN has been rushed to hospital following a serious assault at a Shell Garage in the city's Southside.
Cops were called to the garage on Victoria Road at around 12.55am this morning following a report of a disturbance and a serious assault.
A 31-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Officers remain at the scene and it is understood the garage is currently sealed off.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.55am on Friday, May 5, 2023, police were called to the Victoria Road area of Glasgow, following the report of a disturbance and the serious assault of a 31-year-old man.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers remain in the area."
