A HEARTBROKEN family are appealing for the safe return of their pet after he went missing from their garden.
West Highland Terrier Josh has still not been found after vanishing while in the garden of his owners’ home in Nitshill in Glasgow’s Southside on April 25.
It is unknown if he escaped or was stolen.
Josh, who is described as ‘elderly’, is white and has a condition which causes a film to form over his eyes which then crusts.
His owners have been putting posters up on lampposts across the city and in nearby Paisley appealing for his safe return.
The appeal has also been posted on the Facebook page of Lost Dogs Scotland, a non-profit organisation that works to reunite stolen or stray animals with their families.
Anyone with any information as to Josh’s whereabouts is asked to contact the organisation via its social media channels.
