Police have issued an update on an 'incident' which locked down a Glasgow street.
We previously reported that emergency services were called to Hathaway Lane in the Maryhill area of the city on Monday afternoon.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with the alleged incident, which is understood to have been a stabbing.
Now the force has revealed that they have also arrested a 35-year-old man.
Officers added that two people were injured in the 'disturbance'.
A 31-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
The 36-year-old was later discharged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a disturbance on Hathaway Lane in Glasgow around 12.55pm on Monday, May 15, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 31 and 36, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
"The 36-year-old man has been discharged.
“Two men aged 35 and 36 have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
