Glasgow road users have fumed at 'gridlock' traffic at a retail park.
Ongoing resurfacing works have resulted in the closure of the A726 Nitshill Road between Leggatston Drive and Darnley Mains Road.
And drivers have taken to social media to express their frustration at the travel 'chaos' the closures are causing near the Darnley Retail Park.
One wrote: "Stay well clear of Sainsbury's McDonald’s Darnley absolute gridlock due to the main road being closed for resurfacing."
Another added: "[My] wife’s been stuck in the Sainsbury's fuel station for the last 45 minutes, no cars actually moving as they need to exit via the roundabout up at Costa and those lights are very long."
A third said: "[My] Husband and son [have] been stuck there for over 2 hours. Husband now walking home and leaving son with car. No police presence but lots of irate people."
One local claimed that people were waiting up to three hours to leave the car park.
The roadworks are expected to go on for several more days.
