Gourock Outdoor Pool featured on cover of ninth studio album from Britpop band Blur
GOUROCK's iconic outdoor pool is set to feature on the cover of legendary Britpop band Blur's next album.
The band have chosen a snap of the lido, a favourite day trip spot for Glaswegians, as the artwork for their ninth album ‘The Ballad Of Darren’.
The picture was captured by British photographer Martin Parr and shows a lone man swimming through the popular pool.
The band announced details of the album, which will be their first new music in eight years, earlier today alongside a single ‘The Narcissist’.
