A driver has “crashed into headstones” at a Cambuslang cemetery sparking a police investigation.
The incident happened last Friday at Westburn Cemetery on Old Mill Road.
Detectives recovered the vehicle at the scene beside damaged plots as a result of the smash.
They have now launched a probe and are looking to find the driver of the car.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Friday, 12 May, 2023, police received a report of a vehicle having crashed into headstones at Westburn Cemetery on Old Mill Road in Cambuslang, Glasgow.
“The vehicle was recovered from the scene but enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
