A BUSY Kirkintilloch road is set to close for almost two weeks to allow for cabling works.
Motorists are being asked to use alternative routes to avoid Muirside Avenue between its junctions with Merkland Drive and Jura Drive to allow essential repairs to be carried out.
The work by Scottish Power will start on Monday, May 29 at 9.30am and is expected to last until Friday, June 9 at 6pm.
Drivers are being asked to use alternative routes to avoid disruption.
Vehicles requiring access to properties will be permitted when safe to do so.
