NURSES have been offered tips for using public transport ahead of car park changes at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Scottish Bus Week brought a roadshow to the hospital doors in a bid to help NHS key workers benefit from public transport.
It comes after medics hit out at car park changes due to come into force this week which will see the number of spots available decrease by more than half.
Staff have been advised on how the bus could help them get into the hospital ahead of the changes.

Denis Sweeney, travel planning systems manager for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said: "The events of the last few years have placed even more focus on how essential workers from the NHS travel to and from work.
"The bus offers a safe and flexible option 24 hours a day and it’s essential we make it as affordable as possible. At NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde the team can buy an annual ticket for First Glasgow and SPT and repay it via their salary delivering substantial savings.
"It’s great to be able to offer this option but today was about recognising the collaboration between all transport partners in getting the NHS safely to the front-line to save lives. The bus service is critical to that effort.”

A spokesperson for the health board said it was working to balance the needs of staff, patients and visitors.
