A GLASS panel at the super Queen Elizabeth University Hospital has fallen yet again, the Glasgow Times can reveal.
A single panel fell to the ground earlier today as patients, visitors and medical staff went about their business at the Govan Road site.
It's understood the incident occurred this morning and was immediately cleared up.
No injuries have been reported.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde confirmed the incident was being kept under review.
A spokesperson for the health board said: "We can confirm that a glazing panel on the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital building failed earlier today.
"The panels are specially toughened so that in the event of failure they fracture into small pieces, minimising risk.
"Our estates and facilities teams continue to work with external partners to rectify the damage and the situation is being kept under review."
It comes after the board was forced to erect large nets after a number of panels fell from the £850million hospital in 2018.
