The Glasgow star of the UK’s first ever gay dating show has been spotted in a city bar.
Dan Glendinning, who appeared on BBC3’s I Kissed a Boy, enjoyed an exclusive viewing party at VEGA this weekend.
It comes after the show became an overnight hit with pop goddess Danni Minogue hosting the episode.
The Australian singer plays Cupid in the dating show which has no small talk or swiping, but instead focuses on the first kiss.
This will see ten contestants thrown in at the deep end, including Dan.
Now he has celebrated his debut in style with friends and family in the sky-high bar on the 7th floor of YOTEL on Sunday evening.
Guests were treated to refreshing Absolut #borntomix cocktails and a selection of tantalising snacks from VEGA’s delicious new menu.
Dan Glendinning said: “I’m buzzing to be back in my home city to celebrate the show and hope that Glasgow is proud!”
Speaking to the BBC about hosting the LGBT dating show Minogue said: “I’m hoping the show sparks joy for one, entertainment but also a lot of conversation.”
It comes as the series explores drama, cliffhangers and untold stories about a variety of topics from coming out in a strict religious family to the pressures of body image and more.
You can watch Dan on I Kissed a Boy. Episodes available now on BBC iPlayer.
