THE Rangers Charity Foundation has donated £15,000 to its armed forces partners.
The foundation has made the donation to three services-related charities as part of its Armed Forces Fund Partnership for 2022/23.
The fund supports different charities each year, and for this season they chose to support SSAFA, Combat Stress and Poppyscotland with the donation.

Connal Cochrane, foundation chief executive, said: "We are proud to be able to make this donation to our armed forces charity partners and are very grateful to the Rangers family who have supported our fundraising efforts to make this possible.
"As Gold Award holders in the MOD’s Employer Recognition Scheme and with a long history of support for our armed forces and veterans, it is very important to us to make a lasting difference via our Armed Forces Fund.
"We also continue our charitable work throughout the year supporting serving personnel and veterans in the community and with the club, celebrating Armed Forces Day at Ibrox and marking Remembrance at a dedicated match."

SSAFA provides personalised face-to-face support for those who are currently serving, or have served as a regular or reserve, in the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the British Army or the Royal Air Force, as well as their families.
David Black, SSAFA’s fundraising development manager for Scotland, said: "On behalf of the clients of SSAFA in Glasgow, I’m extremely grateful to Rangers Charity Foundation for its generous contribution to our work throughout 2022-2023.
"Funding like this from Rangers Charity Foundation is driving positive, meaningful, and lasting change that benefits every member of the military family in their time of need in this city.
"Put simply, without the support from Rangers, the impact and reach of our work – which improves and changes lives – would be hampered, and so we greatly appreciate this commitment to SSAFA and its operations."

Poppyscotland has been supporting service men and women, veterans and their families since 1921 in recognition of their sacrifices and service.
Gordon Michie, Poppyscotland’s head of fundraising and learning commented: "Once again Poppyscotland are delighted to be recognised by the Rangers Charity Foundation and the wider Rangers family as a recipient of this very generous donation.
"It will help ensure that we are there for any member of the Armed Forces community in Scotland, showing that together we are all behind them. Always."
Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health, and for more than a century has been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression.
Robert Marsh, director of fundraising at Combat Stress, added: "I would like to thank the Rangers Charity Foundation for their very generous donation.
"This money will ensure we can continue to deliver our specialist treatment and support to thousands of former servicemen and women across the UK with complex mental health issues."
The Rangers Charity Foundation has donated more than £241,000 in cash to armed forces and veterans’ charities to date.
