Concerns have been raised after a fire broke out near a Lenzie railway track.
ScotRail warned they received reports of a blaze between Lenzie and Bishopbriggs this evening.
Staff are investigating the situation and carrying out safety checks ScotRail said: “We have received reports of a fire near the lineside between Lenzie and Bishopbriggs.
“Our staff are on site carrying out safety checks.
“Once we have further information, we'll update this thread.”
Scottish Fire and Rescue Services have been contacted by the Glasgow Times.
