Scots Squad star Grado was left physically “shaking” after being surprised by his Rangers childhood hero.
The Two Doors Down actor, whose real name is Graeme Stevely, was blown away after Ally McCoist suddenly appeared in front of him.
A video showed him looking stunned after the Rangers ace visited him for his 35th birthday on Go Radio Breakfast.
Speaking on the show Grado said: “I got balloons with my name on it and yous got me a lovely wee voucher for a steak restaurant in the town that I am desperate to go to, so thanks very much.
“I’m having a good birthday, but I am nervous I know there is something afoot.”
It was the Crofty, whose real name is Gary Muircroft, revealed they had one more surprise for Grado telling him there was a person behind the door who had come to see him.
He closed his eyes and asked, “what if I don’t recognise him?” to which Ally McCoist said, “you are in trouble if you don’t”.
It was then Grado’s eyes flew open and his jaw dropped as he saw his hero before him with a smile on his face.
He was given a huge hug and looked elated with his birthday treat saying “No way!”
Crofty then said “Ally McCoist is Grado’s biggest hero, and he is in the studio now for his 35th birthday.
“It’s a birthday he is never ever going to forget.”
Ally McCoist then complimented him for his past impressions of him on Scots Squad and they shared laughs over past episodes.
Grado told The Rangers legend: “You are my absolute hero.”
He then told fans: “You will believe who turned up to Go Radio for my birthday, I’m shaking and everything.”
