PICTURES show the damage caused after a fire broke out at a waste management and recycling centre - for the second time this year.
We previously reported the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to NWH Waste Collection on Nuneaton Road, near Celtic Park and the Emirates Arena, at around 5.10pm on Tuesday following a report of the blaze.
Fire crews remain at the scene this morning and residents have been advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke.
It is the second time this year that a fire has broken out at the centre after we previously reported fire crews were called to the site at around 2.35am on February 8 following reports of a blaze.
Pictures taken at the scene today show damage to the building, as well as a large pile of waste.
London Road remains closed onto Clyde Gateway while access to Nuneaton Street is limited.
Access to Emirates Arena is via Dalmarnock Road.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.08pm on Tuesday, June 6 to a fire within the grounds of a recycling centre on Nuneaton Street, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised seven appliances and a specialist resource to the scene to fight the blaze.
"As of 9.24am on Wednesday, June 7, three pumps remain in attendance to dampen down. There are no reported casualties."
