Police give update on 'rape' investigation
POLICE have issued an update after an investigation was launched into a report of a rape in Drumchapel.
We previously reported cops were called to the Summerhill area at around 10.20pm on Friday following a report of a serious sexual assault of a female and an investigation was underway.
Officers have now confirmed the investigation has ended and no criminality has been established.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "An investigation into a report of a serious sexual assault of a female in the Summerhill area of Glasgow on Friday, June 9, 2023 has concluded with no criminality being established."
