A MAN has been arrested following an alleged stabbing in Glasgow's Southside.
999 crews were called to Nitshill Road on Friday afternoon.
A man, who had been reportedly seriously assaulted, was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Officers have since confirmed a man, aged 27, has been arrested and charged in connection.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.20pm on Friday, June 9, police were called to a report of a man seriously assaulted on Nitshill Road.
“Police and ambulance attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was released after treatment.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
