Update: The road has reopened. 

A BUSY road in Glasgow's East End has been closed due to a crash.

London Road is currently shut to westbound traffic at its junction with Braidfauld Street, due to a collision. 

Emergency services are in attendance. 

Police officers are directing traffic. 

A Glasgow City Council traffic notice read: "Following a road traffic collision, London Road is currently closed to westbound traffic at its junction with Braidfauld Street.

"Delays should be expected."

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 2.15pm on Tuesday, June 15, 2023, police were called to Braidfauld Street, at the junction with London Road, Glasgow, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.

"Emergency services remain at the scene.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 2.09pm to attend a two-car road traffic collision on Braidfauld Street, at the junction with London Road, Glasgow.

"An ambulance and a Resuscitation Rapid Response Unit (3RU) were dispatched to the scene and no patients required hospital treatment.”
