A BUSY road near Giffnock Primary School is set to be closed for five days later this month.
Academy Road will be shut from Monday, June 26 until Friday, June 30, to allow the safe operation of sewer works.
On top of the closure, drivers also won’t be to park on Orchard Park between its junctions with Fenwick Road and Academy Road, and the one-way operation on Orchard Park will be suspended.
All vehicles will be unable to access the closed section of the road throughout the works, however, vehicle access to the properties within the closure may be permitted by the contractor when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.
