UPDATE: The station has since been reopened.
A Glasgow Subway station will be closed today due to flooding.
Heavy rain battered the city on Tuesday evening, causing disruption to public transport and resulting in the Scotland v Georgia match at Hampden being significantly delayed.
Today, the weather has left a prolonged impact on Subway services as West Street station in the Tradeston area of the city will remain closed.
A statement by Subway reads: "Please be advised that West Street station will not open to the public. This is due to the adverse weather and flooding. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause."
