Cops race to East End park after 'concern for person'
COPS have raced to an East End park following a 'concern for person call'.
UPDATE: Police provide update after armed cops swarm Tollcross Park
Police were called to Tollcross Park earlier this evening following a "concern for person call".
Local residents have reported seeing helicopters in the area above the park on social media, as well as a large police presence in the surrounding area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said there is no threat to the wider public.
It is understood armed officers were called to the scene as a precaution.
No further information was provided about the incident.
