A MAN who murdered his friend after a row over cans of lager has died in prison.
Reece Sweeney stabbed Jamie McGready at a flat in Govan on August 31, 2020.
Dad-to-be Mr McGready, 33, later died at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Sweeney was found guilty of his murder after a six-day trial in December 2021, before being sentenced to life in prison in February last year.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) confirmed that Sweeny died at HMP Shotts on June 20 aged 24.
Police Scotland have been notified and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A fatal accident inquiry will be held.
A spokesperson for the SPS said: "Reece Sweeney, 24, a prisoner at HMP Shotts has died on June 20, 2023.
"He was sentenced at Edinburgh High Court on February 11, 2022.
"Police Scotland have been advised and the matter will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Fatal Accident Inquiry may be held in due course."
