A Glasgow restaurant has issued a warning about an 'aggressive' swarm of bees which has formed outside their premises.
We previously reported that the swarm had formed on a black wheelie bin outside 63rd + 1st on Bothwell Street.
The bar closed for a day and staff were forced to leave via the fire exit as hundreds of bees manifested outside the venue.
Now staff have attached a warning notice to curious passers-by who may want to get a closer look.
A note reads: "Caution - bees swarming. Please avoid this area.
"Heightened risk of stings, including potentially multiple stings as the bees are hungry and, therefore, aggressive.
"Approach at your own risk.
"We have taken advice from the local beekeeping association and we have a local beekeeper on site later today to support. Thank you."
The Scottish Beekeeping Association has been contacted for comment.
