Delays expected as busy road to close this weekend for maintenance works (Image: Archive)
DRIVERS are being advised to expect delays as a section of busy road will close this weekend.
Barrhead Road will be closed between Thornliebank Road and Boydstone Road to allow essential verge and central reservation maintenance works to take place.
The road will be from 7.30am to 12pm on Sunday, July 2, weather permitting.

Delays are expected and drivers are being advised to use an alternative route where possible.
A diversion will be in place via Thornliebank Road and Boydstone Road.
