A POWER cut has left homes across the Southside of Glasgow without electricity.
The power cut is affecting the G44 area and was first reported around 4am this morning.
Scottish Power said it is taking longer than expected to restore power due to a fault on the underground cable network.
They are arranging for additional resources to assist the repair and the electricity supply is expected to be restored by 6.30pm.
The following postcodes have been affected;
- G44 1AA
- G44 5JD
- G44 5JZ
- G44 5LA
- G44 5LB
Anyone who requires further help or support is asked to call Scottish Power on 105.
