History was made in Glasgow as the Pride flag was returned to the city for the first time via a boat on the River Clyde.
The symbolic gesture ahead of Saturday's Pride march in the city on Saturday was spearheaded by Scottish singer-songwriter Horse McDonald. The flag will be flown on top of the city chambers.
It is the first time the flag has been delivered using the iconic river, which is a nod to the city's shipbuilding heritage.

Speaking after stepping off the boat, Horse said: "As this year's Queen of Pride, I'm delighted to return the Pride flag to the city.
"Before we started I had terrible seasickness, something I discovered very recently and I was the one who stupidly suggested we do this. But it was just amazing
"The symbolism of going up the Clyde with a big Pride flag was enormous. It just felt incredible.
"It's been an honour and a privilege to be the first person to do this. I hope it becomes a tradition to have a flag bearer during Pride."
Horse, however, claimed that people alongside the river had booed the symbol.
The singer says that there will "always" be work to do to ensure hatred and abuse are stamped out of society.
She said: "The feeling was very empowering, especially when a couple of workmen were shouting at us, with one shouting "boo".
"I replied with "I love you" and nothing happened and it was amazing. They were just being silly.
"There will always be more (to be done for equality). It doesn't matter how many people are brave enough to put their heads above the parapet.
"There is always someone, somewhere, frightened to be themselves whether it is a personal or work situation and can't be themselves.
"There will always need to be people to stand up for them to see them.
"That is why Pride on Saturday is very important as it is very important and visible"
The pride march will start at Glasgow Green at 12pm on Saturday with speeches taking place at 11:30 am.
The route will follow the river until Oswald Street where it will take a right and snake through the city centre before concluding at George Square.
