CCTV clips show Connor Gibson walking home and disposing of items moments after he murdered his 16-year-old sister.
The footage has been released by the Crown Office following a guilty verdict at the High Court in Glasgow today.
Gibson attacked his sister Amber in woodland in Hamilton on November 26, 2021, and strangled and sexually assaulted her with the intention of raping her.
Videos show Gibson, who was 19 at the time of Amber's murder, in the moments after her death.
Meanwhile, a CCTV picture shows Gibson, now 20, walking along the street with Amber at 9.55pm, before she was brutally killed.
Just under two hours later, Gibson is captured returning along the same street at 11.44pm.
The first CCTV clip shows a short snippet of Gibson's walk home.
He is seen walking along the street before stopping and leaning against a fence for a few seconds.
He then continues walking.
At the time of Amber’s murder, Connor was living at the Blue Triangle homeless hostel in Hamilton while Amber was at the town’s Hillhouse children’s home.
The second CCTV clip shows Gibson walking out the first door of the hostel, closing it gently, before walking out the second door with what appears to be a bin in his hand.
He rushes down a set of small stairs, before passing by a car and disposing of items in wheelie bins.
Gibson then makes his way back inside with the empty bin.
