FIRST Glasgow has announced an increase in the frequency of services on two routes.
The bus operator has announced the increase for services 2 and 3 which will offer an improved service for more than 600,000 people per month in the city.
The services will be increased from Sunday, August 20.

The move will see service 2, which runs from Faifley through the city centre to Baillieston, increase in frequency to every 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, service 3, which runs from Drumchapel through the city centre to Govan, will increase in frequency to every 12 minutes.
The change comes as both routes have seen significant growth in passenger number recovery following the pandemic.
First Glasgow has also confirmed minor timetable adjustments to improve reliability of services M11, M60, and 81.

Graeme Macfarlan, commercial director for First Bus in Scotland, said: "We have been delighted to see the number of people using services 2 and 3 grow in recent months as passenger recovery post-pandemic continues to grow.
"We recognised that to meet this significant demand, we must increase the frequency of our services on both routes, and these improvements will benefit over 600,000 people who use them every month.
"Those benefits cannot be underestimated, and we hope these changes will further improve the customer experience as we connect people across the city."
The increase in services coincides with the scrapping of the night bus service which is also set to be withdrawn on Sunday, August 20.
Bosses said they maintain an "open mind" about future options for the service.
Mr Mcfarlan added: "These changes are part of a regular network review process, which uses data to track demand.
"It is fantastic to see so many people using Services 2 and 3 and our data is telling us that higher frequencies are required to meet the demand for the services on these routes.
"We implemented a delay to the withdrawal of night bus services to provide more time for all partners – operators, politicians, public sector agencies and the hospitality sector – to review wider transport options late at night in the city.
"We maintain an open mind regarding future options in conjunction with stakeholders, pending the outcome of those discussions."
In Lanarkshire, minor timetable adjustments will start on Sunday, August 6 to improve the reliability of services 255, 263 and 266.
