A MAN has been arrested after being found with a “significant” number of nitrous oxide canisters in Newton Mearns.
It comes after officers stopped a vehicle on Eaglesham Road on Sunday, July 30.
The 23-year-old man was also found with cash and mobile phones following a search.
He was taken into custody.

A spokesperson for the force said: “On the evening of Sunday, July 30, officers stopped a vehicle on Eaglesham Road, Newton Mearns.
“A significant number of nitrous oxide canisters, cash, and mobile phones were discovered during a search.
“A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.”
