THIRSTY revellers will be able to pour their own pints at a quirky new bar when it open tomorrow in Glasgow city centre.
Merchant Square will welcome sports venue The Tap Yard - with drinkers able to enjoy a range of 11 top beers and lagers direct from their tables.
The Bell Street venue is promising customers live footage of top sporting events on personalised 32in screens as punters refill their pints from high-tech taps where they sit.
The premier 'Tap Tables' come with a 20L keg of Heineken to pour, a 65” TV and table service.
Both Celtic and Rangers opening league fixtures will be shown tomorrow, as well as Scotland's rugby union clash with France.
The city centre spot will also serve up speciality burgers and sharing food platters.
The welcome news comes after a number of pubs shut down in the heart of Glasgow this year.
Merchant City's Marmalade Skies pulled its shutters down for the last time in February, less than two years after opening, while the iconic Admiral Bar in Waterloo Street also called time amid spiralling running costs.
