Police have swarmed a flat in Glasgow after finding “potentially hazardous substances”.
Officers have evacuated residents following the discovery this evening at a flat in Altyre Street in Shettleston.
Emergency services are on the scene and have shut down local roads as a result.
People are being warned to stay away from the area as investigations continue.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police and emergency services are at a flat in Altyre St, Shettleston, following the discovery of potentially hazardous substances.
“Some residents have been evacuated as a precaution and local roads closed.
“Please avoid the area. Enquiries continuing.”
