Rangers suffered their first opening day league defeat since 1998 last weekend.

A Brad Lyons goal saw Kilmarnock run out deserved 1-0 winners at Rugby Park.

Already trailing at the top of the league, there is no margin for error as far as Michael Beale is concerned at this time.

They face David Martindale's Livingston team this week in what is sure to be another tricky encounter.

Team news

There is no official team news from either team ahead of this match.

It's likely that Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers, Danilo and some of Rangers' other signings will be included from the start to help in their bid to get up to full match sharpness.

The trio played a part in their side's 2-1 win over Servette on Wednesday night, and will likely play a further role in the return leg next week.

Beale has already revealed that due to the nature of playing three games in a week that there will be rotation in terms of the personnel in his starting XI.

Tom Lawrence is on his way back from injury, as is Leon King.
